Join us Wednesday, May 5 to celebrate Chinquapin Prep’s achievements and goals at our Western throwdown, Deep in the Heart of Chinquapin, in the outdoor beer garden of the world famous Armadillo Palace.

This safe, outdoor gathering will be loads of fun and includes great Goode Co. food, cold drinks and unique entertainment like chicken sh*t bingo, armadillo races, and live music by breakout Texas country music artist, Jesse Raub, Jr.

Your support through sponsorship or an auction donation is both needed and appreciated. Your gift will leave a lasting impact on the school and the students. Here are some examples of what your donation can do:

  • $2,500 buys a year’s worth of new books and subscriptions for the library.
  • $5,000 funds a year of athletic competitions via TAPPS (Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools) (Despite the school’s small size, Burrs are fierce competitors in six traditional sports and, as of 2020, we also have an e-sports team!)
  • $10,000 helps purchase 30 new laptops (To support our students’ remote learning, Chinquapin distributed 150 laptops in 2020.)
  • $15,000 almost covers the cost of a student attending Chinquapin for one year (For comparison, other prep schools in Houston cost about twice as much.)
  • $25,000 buys a fuel-efficient vehicle for student transportation (Or, if you’re upgrading your Tesla, we’ll take it.)
  • $50,000 pays the school’s utility bills for six months (Even with our new solar panels, it still takes a lot to keep the lights on.)
