Each spring, Chinquapin hosts an evening event to raise funds and applaud the tremendous work undertaken by our enthusiastic faculty and staff and our hardworking students, all of whom graduate just weeks after this event.
Our 2019 gala marked Chinquapin’s 50th year in operation and the scene was festive! This event brought together over 400 passionate supporters (and dancers!) to applaud the school’s achievements. Chaired by Elizabeth Dudley and Natalie Synnott, the gala honored school founders Bob and Maxine Moore, as well as the original Board of Directors. We also recognized the reason for the school: specifically, this year’s twenty-two graduating seniors — all of whom have been accepted to college. The night’s capstone was a moving video of alumni, who shared the impact Chinquapin has had on their journeys.
