Ways to Give

There are many meaningful ways to help Chinquapin and our students. From our Sponsor a Student Scholarship program to major gifts and exciting fundraising events, every contribution is vital to advance our mission. However you choose to give, you’ll make a direct impact on our students.

Mentor A Student

Mentoring a Chinquapin student is a meaningful way to support them on their path to college. Many of our Burrs are looking for guidance from adults outside their immediate community to help them envision what’s possible and navigate the opportunities and challenges ahead. Your time, perspective, and encouragement can have a lasting impact.

Sponsor A Student

It costs about $25,000 to educate a Chinquapin student for one year. Help us cover these costs by considering underwriting all or a portion of the annual tuition and directly changing a student’s future.

Join the Scholars Circle – Monthly Giving

Become a sustaining donor and provide consistent support for our students. A gift of just $25 per month helps fund academic programs, college counseling, and essential resources.

Corporate Matching & Sponsorships

Double your impact! Many employers offer matching gift programs, where they will match your donation to Chinquapin Prep, essentially doubling your contribution. Some companies also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses. Contact your employer for more information. Donor-Advised Funds

If you would like to make a gift to Chinquapin Preparatory School from your Donor Advised Funds (DAF), please contact Laura Hipps. Please be advised that no goods or services may be received in exchange for grants made from a DAF.

Gifts of Stock

Please contact Laura Hipps to notify us of your intention to donate stock. Initiate the stock wire transfer electronically or by mail with your brokerage firm or bank. Our brokerage or banking information will be provided upon notification. Stock is valued by taking the average of the high and low prices on the date of the transfer.
